Veneers in Pleasanton, CA

Dental Veneers

At Pearls & Teeth in Pleasanton, CA, we are pleased to offer dental veneers as a popular cosmetic dental treatment to help our patients achieve a beautiful, confident smile. Dental veneers are thin shells made of porcelain or composite resin that are custom-designed to fit over the front surface of your teeth. They can be an excellent solution for correcting a variety of cosmetic dental concerns, including:

Dental veneers are designed to be both durable and natural-looking, providing a long-lasting and beautiful smile. They are custom-made to fit over your teeth and are bonded to the tooth surface using a strong adhesive. Once in place, veneers can last many years with proper care, making them a great investment in your oral health and overall appearance.

One of the main benefits of dental veneers is that they require less tooth preparation compared to dental crowns. In most cases, only a small amount of tooth enamel needs to be removed to make room for the veneer. This means that the procedure is generally less invasive and requires less time in the dental chair.

If you’re interested in dental veneers, our team at Pearls & Teeth can help you determine if this is the right cosmetic dental treatment for you. We’ll work with you to create a customized treatment plan that addresses your unique needs and goals, ensuring that you achieve the beautiful, confident smile you deserve.

Veneers are generally placed on the front teeth to enhance your smile and self-esteem. They generally last many years with proper care and can be a good alternative to dental crowns. Placing veneers generally requires lesser trimming of the tooth since they are placed on the front of the tooth.

Procedure

At Pearls & Teeth in Pleasanton, CA, we understand that the process of getting dental veneers can seem overwhelming, which is why we take the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions you may have.

The process of getting dental veneers usually involves two to three separate dentist visits. During your first appointment, Dr. Madhure will perform a comprehensive oral exam and recommend how many teeth will require veneers. We’ll also discuss the treatment process, address any other dental issues that may need to be resolved before placing the veneers, and clarify your insurance coverage and out-of-pocket expenses.

Once you decide to proceed with the veneer procedure, the identified teeth will be prepared, which may include trimming a small amount of tooth enamel. An impression of the teeth will be taken and sent to a dental lab, where your custom veneers will be fabricated. If necessary, we may create a temporary veneer to protect your teeth until the final veneers are ready to be placed permanently.

Once your veneers are ready, we’ll call you to schedule an appointment for placement. During this appointment, any temporary veneers will be removed, and Dr. Madhure will fit the new veneers to your teeth using a special adhesive. A curing light will be used to ensure that the veneers are bonded securely to your teeth.

After your veneer procedure, it may take some time to get used to the feeling of the veneers in your mouth. We recommend that you brush and floss your veneers regularly, just like you would with your natural teeth. With proper care and oral hygiene, veneers can last many years, making them a long-term investment in your smile and overall oral health.

If you have any questions about your veneers or need to schedule a follow-up appointment, our team at Pearls & Teeth is always available to assist you. Contact us today to learn more about how dental veneers can transform your smile. Contact us to learn more
